Muela Bisonite 11R Skinner Knife

Bisonte-11R hunting knife for pelting with a fixed blade full-tang design. Perfectly balanced, designed for hunters, it works as a universal knife. Manufactured from MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel.

X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).

Blade - solid, 4 mm thickness with excellent mechanical properties of the Hookblade profile - on the back was placed hook for skinning. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare.

Handle - profiled finger pads made of laminated pakka wood in brown color for a secure grip. The knife fits very well in your hand, does not slip, it can be easily operated in all conditions. Rivets fixing the covers made of brass. In the back of the handle was placed a gap for a rope.

Sheath - hand-stitched, made of top quality brown cowhide with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Fastened with a Prym type snap. The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
