xcellent price!X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.

Blade - with Guthook profile ideal for skinning (skinning hook on the back). The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, hollow grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. It opens with a double-sided peg in the wedge. A section of the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - Pakka wood grips. Chamfered edges of the sheaths eliminate sharp edges and characteristic profiling of the surface improves grip security. Open-backed design reduces weight and facilitates cleaning.
